DALLAS — A Dallas man found himself behind bars Monday, charged with murder after a woman was found shot to death.
Police say at around 10 a.m., Dallas officers responded to a shooting at 2300 Alabama St., where they found an unidentified woman with a gunshot wound lying on the floor of a boarding room. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police later learned the victim was involved in a domestic disturbance with another woman and a man they identified as 62-year-old Robert Lee Grant.
Grant is currently in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
The victim’s name will be released once the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office confirms her identity and the next of kin has been notified.
