Mel Tucker likely done as Michigan State football coach amid sexual harassment allegations
Tucker is accused of masturbating during a phone call with a sexual assault victim advocate.
EAST LANSING, Mich. — It’s being called a suspension for now, however, those close to the situation at Michigan State University say Mel Tucker has coached his last game for the Spartans.
Tucker was officially suspended without pay at 5 p.m., Sunday, during a press conference on campus. Secondary coach Harlon Barnett was named interim head coach while former head coach Mark Dantonio will serve as associate head coach.
